Fool

Hiding myself
Veiled in valueless knowlege
No one knows me
Lost

Afraid
I am a shell
They will see right through
To my worthlessness
Alone

Wanting
To be more
I work to hear others
Needing my ear
Hopeful

Trying
To open myself
So others can see
There’s more to me
Feeling

Courage
Facing my fear
Refusing to hide
Fearing to fail
To try

Faith
I am good
No one need tell me
But it helps
Thanks

Thanks for your comments. Sorry about my delay responding. Random thoughts NO. It is the progression of me I continue to work on. As for expressing myself that comes in waves - occasionally long enough that I learn something about me in my writing -mostly just enough to keep questioning the quality of my effort in living. I cant stop questioning because I am just not completely satisfied with my effort. I try to be satisfied “Jim is good enough” I try to increase my effort and when I do I am satisfied. But I cant sustain the higher effort long enough to make my improvements stick.

Rome was not built in one day, keep trying, be patient, have courage and faith, try to have a very active life, try to be constructive, set goals in short and long term of things you want to acomplish and be constant.

When you keep fighting, you are not waisting time, you are living your life and making it better.
