What could happen to Canada as a result of an Amero Currency, shared with the United States and Mexico?

Could this be the beginning of a loss of independance for Canada within North America?

I don’t think you are going to have to worry about it…the US public steadfastly refuses new currency (i.e. dollar coins) and I doubt this will make it off the ground in any widespread manner.

Apparently this idea has been floating around for a while now. Personally I’m hoping that it doesn’t go much further. And in reguards to Canada being too smart to associate with America more than neccisary, I’m not completely certain with our current Conservative government. And this has been talked about even when Paul Martin for the Liberals was still around and kicking.
