due to a request from Isabellaboo, heres ANOTHER couple
of poems, lol, hope you all like them, again, constructive criticism and comments appreciated.
1.You lied, you lied, you lied again
And so you went unforgiven
I cant learn to forget now
Cant,
Wont forgive
I am alone now
I enjoy it
At least..i think i do?
I cant get lost anymore
Its all a confusion
But at least
It wont matter when Im alone
2.A ghost of a former beauty
When death has taken over
Die, suffer, cause us pain
I refuse to care anymore
Because then Ill know
I am not alone
And that hurt was not imagined
The pain I feel,
Is pain I know
And proves a former joy

one more thing, everything you write, at least once a week run a copy off, mail it to yourself. DON’T OPEN IT!!! Put it away. That sealed envelope is like a copyrite. It has a United States Post Office Seal with a date and time on it and that validates when the piece was written incase someone steals it from you. So long as you NEVER OPEN IT. Put a mark on the outside that is in somekind of shorthand that only you understand that is code to the name of your writing so you can look it up if you need to at a later date. Maybe 5 or 10 years in the future. You never know you could become famous and your early writings could become worth alot to your grand kids some day. Trust me, don’t lose your paper copy. And relly you shouldn’t keep all your good stuff in the computer because you could get hacked. So good luck and keep writing. Just keep everything on CD.
Blessed Be,
Catherine
“You lied, you lied, you lied again” lol, i’m sorry i know these are heartfelt important pieces of your mind but that made me laugh. if you poems can bring up more than one emotion in some short sentences than they must be good.
I think those were great. The second one was definitely my favorite out of the two.

lol, thank you everyone, Isabellaboo, i KNEW youd laugh at that! i prefer the second one too, even i dont like the first
well remember, just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean it’s crap.

no, not really, i never thought id be good enough
niether did i but i entered a few of my poems at poetry.com for their contest thats going on write now and they ended up picking one of my to be published in “forever spoken” a new book that just came out. it really shocked me cuz they picked one that i thought wasn’t very good but u never know! u should at least try it! i think your good enough! ;)

uhm…which of my poems do you think i should enter?
You can send all of them if you want to but i think there is a limit to the number of lines the poem should have. if i had to pick one i would choose your “perfect blue eyes” poem.
