Please help Writer’s block!

I’m trying to write a poem to my ex explaining what I’m feeling right now. Here’s the lines I was able to come up with and that’s where I get stuck:

Please
Make me hate you
Just please
Make me wish you were dead
Maybe… maybe then
It wouldn’t hurt so bad
Please
I can’t take this never-ending cycle
Of love and hurt and regret
Please
I love you so much…but
I just want to forget

~and this is where i get stuck because i know there’s a lot more i want to say but i just can’t find the right words. help???

try free association… instead of trying to write something beautiful and well worded, write absolutely anything that comes to mind as fast as you can. Fill up at least 2 or 3 pages, stop, breathe, and read what you wrote. You just inspired yourself!
