i’m depressed, need to change my career but i feel boxed in as i don’t have the money to re-train.

i currently have quite a well-paid job and cannot afford to leave it but it’s making me miserable. what can i do?

What do you do for work, if you don’t mind me asking… Just wondering how well I can relate, because I was in a very similar situation a short while back. I’m a software engineer.

One thing that you could do is just start putting out resumes. If/When you get a call back, do some additional research on that company and see if it interests you. You can also but your name in with a recrutting firm (head hunters), and they will do all of that work for you, at ZERO cost to you.

Dude….I am assuming you are a “dude”….I just posted a very similar post with much more thought, but still very similar nonetheless. I was aking for someone like myself cause I need a similar answer. I just dont know if there is an answer. I will let you know if I come up with anything….

im a trained chef and very unhappy i take things out on ppl i love and my job is makin me ill what do i do i have no money no were permanent 2 live HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ya sometimes things just suck and there isn’t any light at the end of the tunnel that you can see. I’m there right now.

I’m in the same position. I got made redundant and had to take a huge pay cut. Am now in a minimum wage job. Struggling with bills and no way out. There are a lot of us in the same position. Just try and stay positive.
