computer help: How do you search a web page for a particular word or words in a URL embedded in a link? - Help.com

How do you search a web page for a particular word or words in a URL embedded in a link?

For instance:

Clickable Link: “My computer does’t want to put video in youtube.com”

Actual URL: “http://help.com/post/92666-my-computer-doest-want-to-pu”

So, say I wanted to search for key words within all URL’s on the page containing the word Computer. [Without having to view source from the menu please.] Is there any software out there that will do this?

Yes, I’m familiar with this. (see last part of my post: [Without having to view source…] Is there any software out there that will do this?)

Go to top left corner. Click on EDIT. In the drop down list choose Find(on this page)

No, actually this will find the word in the text as it appears on the screen. I’m wanting to find the hidden stuff in the link.

Oh, and here’s a shortcut for you — Ctrl-F will call up the “find on this page” feature.

if you want to find something in the source, you’ll have to view the source one way or another…
