you might have a virus on your PC. Try running PC in safe mode and do a virus scan and see if that helps.

Some times when the pc restarts automatically it is due to the last program that you have installed, try removing the program in safe mode then restart and see if that doesn’t correct the problem. Hope this helps :-)

First:
Try scanning with a good antivirus like AVG.

If that turns up nothing:
Try uninstalling anything (Software or Drivers) you’ve installed on the computer before the last reboot when you weren’t having this problem.

If that turns up nothing:
Try reinstalling windows on top of your current copy of windows.
Your stuff will still be on your computer, but the stuff that was in “My Documents” and “Desktop” will now need to be accessed from where they exist on the hard disk:
C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Desktop
and
C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\My Documents

If all else fails:
1. Backup anything you care about on the computer
2. Format drive & Re-Install Windows
3. Be merry

The drive will be erased, so you want to be really sure everything you care about is copied and put somewhere else before formatting the drive.

You may be having a virus or spyware installed on your PC. Norton, AVG , Avast are free antivirus software. Ad-aware, Ewido are free spyware removers. You can download free softwares at http://fixit.in/antivirus.html and http://fixit.in/spywareremover.html
