When I try to copy my Windows Movie Maker file onto a different computer, not all the video effects and transitions copy too.

Does anyone know why and how I can fix that?

What folders are you transferring? There are probably some other folders that you are missing.

I’m taking the whole Windows Movie Maker file, including everything inside of it but i’m missing 22 effects and 13 transitions.

There will probably be some more folders in documents and settings-username-application data-microsoft. And probably some other places but I don’t know where that’d be. Probably around the same area though.

Have you looked to see if the new version is on the microsoft website? It’s probably going to be very difficult to move all of movie maker over to a new computer.

yes, but they want me to pay and i’m not. plus the new computer doesn’t have internet
