I realize this is an unpopular suggestion, but why not go to a used CD store and get music for your iPod that way? All the music on my iPod is 100% legal and I have 1000s of songs. Don’t get trapped into chasing the lastest tunes. There is fantastic music out there from the last 50 years!

I would highly recommend not getting a P2P service. They are usually loaded with spyware, and slow down your computer. Please, help the musicians out that make the music and buy it so they can get paid.

I’m a musician, so I would know. I’m about to release a record, and I don’t want people to be downloading it without my permission. Fortunately, no one knows who my band is, so I don’t have to worry about it right now.

It hurts a band if you don’t pay them.

Golly, I’m just an old fart. However, I can remember downloading songs from the radio to my casette and no one came to arrest me. What happened when the computer was invented? (You can still record songs from the radio, but don’t tell anybody).
