Here’s the deal.

I have an opportunity to fly to New Jersey see my first ever professional football game for pretty much nothing (hotel, flight, car rental, etc = 100 bucks because I won a contest). The only problem is that my grandmother’s surprise party is the same weekend. I’m underage so I can’t stay at the party long to begin with because it’s at a bar but I don’t know how people will react. Seeing a pro football game (Miami Dolphins) has been a huge dream of mine and this seems like a once in a lifetime opportunity. The bad thing is that if I cancel my plan, I have to refund the company for the flight tickets. I’m just torn in half on what to do. Help? Thanks.

What is the suprise party for? Maybe you can speak with your grandmother and let her know and spend some quality time with her before the party, since you can’t stay long anyways. She might be a grandmother, but honey she was young once too!
