Why is it that so many of the people on this site are asking for help on simple homework assignments? I was under the impression that this site was for more…serious problems. If you need to know about Abraham Lincoln, LOOK IT UP and do a bit of research before crying to us. If you need to turn in a report, or write a paper, DO IT instead of pretenting you’ve looked everywhere for the information and can’t find it. Read what you’re supposed to read, write what you’re supposed to write, and do your own schoolwork. I, for one, don’t buy it for a second when you say that you can’t find it on your own. Go to google, wikipedia, or any other well-known scorce of information, and stop clogging this site with your laziness. If you need help with your parents, teachers, friends or even relationships, we’ll be here for you night and day; but stop expecting us to be your training wheels and do your own work on your own like everyone else. The odd person may now and then be too thick to realize your game, but do you really want to trust someone so obviously devoid of more than twelve functioning brain cells to do your homework? I should hope not. I appologise if I come accross as mean on this point, but I wake up every day to over 300 notices on this site, and nearly half of them are asking me about biographical information or the history of some event or another. Please, I implore you, stop it. It’s painfully obvious that you never tried to do it on your own, so why should we help you? If you don’t at least put forth something resembling effort, your grade really must not be that important to you. Yet you expect it to matter to us. If you need a tutor, this is the wrong place to look. If you really have tried, post the links to the sites you used to look. As for the rest of you, do your own work. It’s not funny, and it shows you to be innept at basic information gathering skills. Just do your work.

what are the five major areas of specialization in earth science?
descride three ways the atmosphere helps support life on earth?
name three products first developed for use in space that people noww use in their everyday lives?
what is the current model of our solar system?

I don’t know the five major areas of specialization, but the atmosphere helps in many ways. It helps protect us from the Sun’s UV rays. I think (not sure) It helps keep oxygen in, and It does some other cool stuff!

Products that we use today: Memory foam matresses, Tang, and other awesome products!

I’m pretty sure, that our current model of our solar systerm is heliocentric. Meaning (helio)SUN (centric)CENTERED. We have upgraded from the old beliefs that we lived in a GEOcentric (Earth Centered) solar system.

Hope that HELPS!

The five major areas of specialization MAY INCLUDE: The atmosphere, stratusphere, and any other “sphere’s” I kind of remember that from earth science.

Technology is (the knowledge of)the application of pure science to our everday lives.
(I am a certified technologist among other things).
Some synonyms for ‘technology’ are engineering and applied science.
Earth sciences consist of climatology, geology, hydrology, biology and (I’m guessing)
palaeontology.
Here is a question back at you ‘What is the carbon cycle and how many years does it take to complete?’
