It will work fine. The only difference in USB 1.1 and 2.0 is the bandwidth of the port, 2.0 being able to transfer data much much more quickly then 1.1. So your mp3 players USB 1.1 connection will work fine in a USB 2.0 port, it will just only transfer data at 1.1 speed.
