college help: I’m trying to decide what kind of car to buy. - Help.com

I’m trying to decide what kind of car to buy.

I’m 28, a college professor, and just moved up to Chicago. I’ve test-driven several things- BMW 3-series, Honda Civic, VW Jetta/GLI, Chevy Silverado. I would like something that gets pretty good mileage.

4 wheel drive might be a good idea in any area that gets a lot of snow.

i’ve always had a thing for jettas….lol or jetti? but see which one drives the best, has the features you want and the best mileage.

good luck prof :O)

i have a nissan altima, and it is fantastic, and it gets great gas mileage, i made it from north georgia all the way down to the florida panhandle on less than a tank of gas…Fabulous…but, a BMW is good, although i would highly recommend getting an extended warrenty if your going used, they can be very expensive to fix if they break…
