maybe we just notice sadness more than happiness.
love is never forgotten, but the happiness one gets from it diminishes. that flame can be kindled, but happiness is ever fleeting.
Everything only lasts for a little while including happiness and life. If life is only fleeting then happiness will be also. Some people are happy their whole lives but even they have to die.
Half of life is what we get, the other half is what we make of it. Be loving, and you will have love.
maybe we just need to know it all.
maybe its just attitude - we need to retrain our thinking - instead of meditating on the disappointments/frustrations, focus on the positive, things we’re grateful for….don’t you know people who are better at that than others? and compared to some we REally have good lives….
I say attitude….determines your latitude….hehe
but what do i know…

how doesn’t it?
I believe we can find happiness if we keep ourselves motivated to make changes in our lives for the better. If we challenge ourselves to try something different we really learn to love, trust and respect ourselves. We then find friends who also cherish and value us as individuals because we pass our positive feelings on to them.
Happiness truly is like a breath of fresh air… a wonderful feeling when we learn to let go of things that are harmful to our well being (bad relationships, prejudice, gossip, unhealthy attitudes). Rather than letting things stagnate or giving ourselves pain… why not take care of ourselves and appreciate the gifts around us and the things we can do for ourselves and others (nature, our physical and mental health, the kind, thoughtful, accepting indivduals we know.) I think life is about learning and exploring, seeing things from a different perspective… moving forward and experiencing what is out there. Caring for and educating ourselves keep things interesting and satisfying. I think it is also about encouraging others to share in our experience as well as the positives we get from sharing in other’s successes and happiness.
Letting go of painful things is part of what is important in getting back control over one’s own life and finding that true happiness… its out there for sure! :)
very interesting..
I love you for that one, Ames.
apparently all im missing are friends… okay. time to meet some new people.
Brilliant.
Friends are the ones you vent to, and laugh with, share all your dreams. Go out and meet some. Life is short… enjoy it. do something exciting, live on the edge for a while.
love will always set you free
now look at what ames said at the middle
I believe true love does not die. My thoughts on love tend to be complicated though.
And I love making new friends, I’ll send you my e-mail.
That’s right, but your not finding the right person, so your not getting true love!
