I have a few questions about a spanish assignment.

I have it all the way done, it is a Telefono Importante list. I have it done except I am not sure how to say these two following things:

1. Student Retention- I know what student is, but not retention. And would it be estudiante ___, or ____estudiante?

2. Web Site- the back of my book had it cito web? Is that correct and if so how would I make it plural, by adding es to it, making it cito webes?

If there are accent marks for any of these, if you could please tell me where I’d appreciate it. I cant do them on here, but I do know some of the words might need them.

I am not asking anyone to do my homework, I have it done, I just cant find the above anywhere.

I have my first spanish exam tomorrow. I’ve been up this late studying, its 2:50 I mean…son las tres menos diez…did I say that right? Anyways the point is, I need to get some sleep. I will probably only stay on here until 3, and then I should probably get some sleep.

Wish me luck everyone, I need it. I have to get an A, there is no ifs, ands or buts about it:)

Also, sorry another question I guess. One contact person I am going to have is a lady at my college who is in charge of student retention, she is not a profesora though. So would I just write Senora Smith, or Senora Amy Smith? Or is there something else I would put in front of her name? Thanks:)

Hi, I guess I should say that I did O.K on my first exam, I got an 89. Which is a B+, but I am mad because I could have done better. And for those who helped with my homework assignment, thanks, I got a 100% on it!:)

BUT now we are learning other stuff, the verb estar and learning about how to ask questions. I am getting confused on how to rephrase things into questions. Also I am getting confused about the difference between estar and ser. I am also a little confused on the whole tomo, tomas thing. Like asking about when classes are and what classes I have. I dont know lol, I have a lot more questions this time around. A lot of this is really new to me. URR:)

I am really struggling with which verb to use when it comes to Ser and Estar. They are soo confusing, and I keep getting them switched up. Can anyone help clarify? I have my second exam tomorrow, and this is one of my areas of struggle. Thanks:)

In regards to your query on the Spanish verbs to be estar and ser note that ser is the verb to be used only to describe people places and things. example (ser) Yo soy medico =I am a doctor; Yo soy americano=I am American.
Estar- is used to express progressive tenses;express a condition or state; used in idiomatic expressions and to express a geographic or physical location. example(estar) Estoy estudiando espanol=I am studying Spanish. La casa esta cara=The house is expensive La tienda esta en la esquina=The store is on the corner.
