my daughters smile.. :)

My mom (she has a wonderful sense of humor! She also taught me to have compassion and to see beyond myself)
My Grandma (she taught me to love the little things about life)
My Grandpa (he taught me to be generous and giving)

For me it just comes down to the people I truly care about and the beauty and discovery in nature (scents, sounds, sight, sensations.)

answer 2 :hmm… I want to see all the world, traveling from one place to another,
seeing many thing, feeling many things, I am nothing i this big world right now but maybe in the future…
when I reach my dream, I can be something…

Im happy Im alive. Maybe.

Of course, I can do all sort of things. I can experience everything, bad or good. I am given a choice, perception and outlook because I exist. The raod may not be that smooth, but at least I have made several stops that made this life more meaningful.

Well, after thinking about it for a while, I’d have to say, for one… I am happy that I am alive (exist) because my life has enriched the lives of my parents.

Yeah, I’m with Rekaru on this one, nothing at all. Lately I’ve been feeling I’m only still alive as a favour to everyone that cares about me… I’m sure I’ll get over it.

Hmmm… well, that’s why this is such an interesting question. It’s NOT asking what makes you happy during your lifetime, but rather, Why are you happy to be alive? What is it about the *fact* that you *exist* that makes you happy?

Yeah, that would be nothing again, infact the fact I exist kind of bothers me, I mean, had I been asked before I existed whether or not I wanted to exist, I would have turned it down, but then that makes no sense hehehe

YES I’m SOOO happy to be alive.
I like to be alive for LOTS of reasons - mostly I like to laugh with, enjoy life/help/be with my family, friends, and be a blessing to whoever when possible…and of course, eating candy makes me happy to be alive too….hehe

I am happy to exist.

Non-existance is too challenging to be happy; it’s easier to exist. I enjoy the feeling of evolution, and remembering so many things that I’d forgotten from past existances (that is always a great surprise and lots of fun!). I enjoy providing meaning. I enjoy the interplay of love. I enjoy the homecoming.

Even if I answered a different question, I think it was worth it.
Made me feel good, made me feel valid in this world for just that second.

um, because i think maybe the little impact i might have on the world is valuable.
plus, if i never existed my parents might be missing something they didn’t even know was gone.

Thank you Issy. I just don’t feel happy at all. What keeps me going is the thought that maybe someday, I will be happy, because if its a matter of life or death, I’d choose life. No, its not my ‘friends’ or ‘family’ either that keeps me alive, I’m just worthless and replaceable to both, I don’t matter, and I think I finally realized that. See, with death, there’s no chances left to be happy, but with life, there’s always a chance. If I could even catch a glimpse of happiness, that would mean the world to me.

i am happy to be alive because i get to be and know so many nice people… i get to do something to change the world even if its not a major change or an obious one im changing the world and contributing in my own way… through my poetry…. my music… my love…. my friendships…. everything… i can help other people and make others feel better… watching someones face light up when i give them a present or play them a song or read them a poem makes me so happy to be alive! i smile evrytime i see a couple together because it is hope and shows love and they are making the world a better place by sharing their love.lol if that makes sense to anyone…

1. To place my own stamp on this world and make a real difference, not live a selfish self serving life, to touch others daily
2. To see the good to feel it/ ive see the bad and felt it as well
3. to learn,love,cook,dance,read,see,feel,taste,lust,desire,sing,pray,meet,to be thankful, to grow

im happy to be alive because of my best friend Lara and the most awesomest guy ever, Will. they both saved my life and make me glad im still here every day

So, that I can breathe. Nothing feels better than standing outside on a cool day when the breeze is just right and brething…deep…inhaling and exhaling…looking at your surrounding…just relaxing and enjoying life

My wife , children and music but if I continue to work for these corporate bastards how will I ever have time to enjoy these thigns maybe that is why I am not happy a lot of the time. All I wan to do is pursue my own dreams of being a doctor of natural medicine so I can spend time doing what I love except I will never get to it be3cause I have to slave for these polital slavemasters.
