Does Anyone truly like the Windows Vista?

So far I am finding it very unreliable. I have my internet installed, but it doesn’t always stay running. It is so frustrating. Any solutions that you have found to make surfing the net easier?

there are many issues with Vista but it was the same when XP first came out. it will be better when they FINALLY work the bugs out. the only thing i don’t like is the fact you are forced to take it when you are buying a new computer. i don’t see too many with XP pre-installed. as for the internet not working you may have to tweak your settings if you are not using IE7. IE7 is your best bet for surfing while using Vista.

I purchased vista ultimatte for a media center pc, and had nothing but problems. It isn’t as stable as xp has been for me, and seems to be a recourse hog. I also have an older HD television, and have to use component connections as it doesn’t have HDMI. Turns out I can’t play DVD’s through the media center because my tv doesn’t support hdcp. WTF?

I stepped into this knowing that everything I was doing would be a learning experience. Knowing what I know now, I would never shell out the cash for Vista. I will stick with XP as long as I can, and will switch to a mac or linux before I buy another copy of Vista. I hope Microsoft gets things right the next time around. Think about the customers instead of the studios. We are the ones buying your product. If you make it difficult to use, we will find another way and you will loose sales. Good luck!
