Money help: Does anyone know where I can get a loan? - Help.com

Does anyone know where I can get a loan?

My situation is, my temp assignment ended, I applied for unemployment was approved, then denied and they requested the money back. I am still waiting for the appeals process, searching for a permanent job, and going through my savings. prosper.com turned my down, stating my credit score was too low. I have paid off all but two very old debts. How can I obtain a loan to move forward?

If your credit is officially bad (no matter if that’s justified) the only people likely to offer you a loan will demand outrageous terms. If you can live on without the loan for just a while longer, I’d do it if were you, because any loan you could now get would make it difficult to live for a long time.

If you do need to lend the money (and sometimes you don’t have a choice) try to get it from friends or family members. They know you, they’ll know you are dependable.

If you plan to pay back the money , you can ask for a loan at Prosper. People may help you. More information at http://www.acreditlibrary.com/prosper…

You can also try your luck at online charities, people may send donations. More information at http://www.laodn.org/
