Goddammit! Thanks for the advice about the on-screen keyboard. It’s significantly less annoying than using copy-paste… but still pretty low. Oh well, at least I can type now.

Okay, so I hooked up an old, awkward keyboard that I found in the garage. Now, as promised, you get to hear the whole story. My parents have a thorny stick up their collective @ss for some reason or another, so they decided to load a ton of chores on me. No biggie, right? I can handle that. But now they’re yelling at me. And now they’re putting words in my mouth. And now they’re taking things away that are my things to begin with, for no reason other than they have thorny wooden hemorrhoids for some reason I still haven’t figured out. So they take the keyboard, because obviously, me not being on the computer will solve all their problems. No problem, I hook up this one and it’s all good, right? Wrong. They’re in that mode where they’ll actually rip something out of my hands if they want it bad enough. So, I have to hide the keyboard until they leave. No they’ve left, so I can use it. Of course, I know all their hiding spots, so even if they take this one, I’ll find it again.

In the end, it’s only temporary, I’m getting my own computer tower soon via mail from a very nice helper out there. (You know who you are.) and I have all the other equipment to make it run. I’ll have to hack their internet connection, but I’m in the same house, so it won’t be that hard. Anyway… yeah… trouble at home.

Lil… highlight a word, right click on it, and select Copy.
Now, click somewhere that you can type, right click there again, and select Paste.
