would 2Mb broadband be suitable for 5 people all to share in one house?

or would this be very very slow? the other option would be to get 4Mb but i dont really want to pay extra if the 2Mb would suit fine, just basically to go on internet sites and msn

Em… can you try it out first and if you find it too slow then get them to increase it. If its through your phoneline it just needs to be upgraded, it will take about 5 days for them to put it up to 4mb.
We used 2mb between 3 of us and it was fine.

2Mb would be fine for basic internet use and IMing, just get a good router so everyone can easily share the network.

Should be as long as someone isn’t over-downloading files or playing a band intensive online game, for most applications and uses it should be able to run a network of 3 computers without too much problem ~smiles~

My comcast is 12MBps download, and 528MBpc upload. It runs my phone, computer, server, routers, and networked perpherials just fine.
