Help please!
Ok when I was little (like 5-7) I had this video in my house that me and my sister watched (she’s one year older) and I have no idea what it’s called and the only thing I remember was the ending. It didn’t seem too popular or anything. Anyways, it was about a group of people who had the sign of the devil on their forehead/arm and went around and anyone who belived in God was beheaded with a guillotine. I guess this girl (young adult, old teen if I recall) was the main character and she was in the line of Christians waiting to get decapitated. She had to witness her friend die like that. The ending came when it was her turn (this wasn’t the whole movie) and she was strapped. They didn’t drop the razor right away, I think there was like 5 minutes. One strap was loose and a bit ripped, and she felt that with one hand. She tried ripping it off fully to escape but too late, it comes down, screen goes black, ends.
This has been bothering me for about 2 years and today when we finished the movie on the French Revolution I realized I HAVE to know what this video was. Thing is, there are reasons that lead to this video I speak of not being during that era. The Christians wore regular clothing, no rags or anything. The devil servants looked like monk’s (so did they bring Americans over to another country or something?). The straps were of velcro and those plastic buckles (both black), not really any leather or metal/bronze. The clock was digital with red numbers, and it showed in a big screen somewhere on a building near the guillotine.
Why do I want to know what it is you might ask? Because my mom caught us watching it and yelled at us then took it away forever, meaning it was something bad. She’s a Christian, so I guess she might’ve thought we would think “Wow, those Christians are dying…I don’t wanna be liek them”. But I’m older now (and still Christian! forever) and wnat to know the truth.
This is ALL I remember from it sorry, please help me I don’t know why but I NEED to know!
Another movie she took away was these teens were having a party in a house, strobe lights in one room and everything. Then I don’t know either a bomb went off in the house unexpectedly or someone came in, set up a bomb, and held everyone hostage (if they attempted to leave he’d shoot them). I remember it being dark in the house, maybe the cops told them to turn out the lights and…? I don’t know, this one I have less memory of, but I do want to know. Ring a bell for anyone?
