Party@13?
At 13 I wanted to be left alone and treated like an adult, is it boy or girl?
I can say froma girl point of view that a sleep over with friends is more an idea, lots of films to watch, lots of snacks aka midnight feast and money to go on a shopping spree

when i was that age, my most memorable birthday involved my parents renting a hotel room in a place with waterslides - and we had all the kids bring bathing suits and go back to the room for cake after

I had a quiet one, video games, snacks, and a few friends for a sleepover.

Plan alot of her favorite foods & snacks. There are lots of different DVD games in the toy department that look cool. My 12 year old daughter has the Clue and Disney DVD games. Lots of movies out that would be good to watch also.

Paint Ball Gun Auditorium ….
Skate boarding park ….
Over night camp out ….
Day River Raft Trip ….
Lasar Tag ?? ….

Home made Cake and Ice Cream with their friends (I always did this, we planned the next cake and ice cream depending on which boy’s birthday was next - ie: I made cake for all of them on their birthdays … became a tradition through high school) They all seemed to really like it and came each time for each others birthdays.

Have fun …

That hotel birthday party thing does sound good … and bonus .. don’t have to clean the house! Automatic sleep over!! Wow … I wish someone would have given me that idea many years ago! Pick it strategically … must have a pool, and if located near a park of sorts … especially the water park like the other replier said … I think it would be awesome.
