[Help] My Lsass.exe program on my windows xp pro keeps messing Updates to this post /post/114889-my-lsassexe-program-on-my-windows Mon, 23 Nov 2009 15:28:08 +0100 Reply from Locke /post/114889-my-lsassexe-program-on-my-windows#reply-3277922 The famous lsass.exe problem. Yep, probably malware, though any number of variants exploit that process. To abort the shutdown, go to start>run, type “shutdown -a” (no quotes) and hit enter. Otherwise, do run antispy and antivirus. If the problem continues, there are a number of additional and more time-intensive fixes, many requiring the presence of your operating system’s installaton disc. This thread may help if you have more than the one legitimate lsass.ese located in c:\windows\system32:

Reply from Oldfart /post/114889-my-lsassexe-program-on-my-windows#reply-3277776 You have a trojan or malware most probably and need to use Spybot or adaware to remove it.
