[Help] Right.. Updates to this post /post/115861-right Thu, 26 Nov 2009 22:36:04 +0100 Reply from frida /post/115861-right#reply-4004762 Hi, I’m from Sweden too. If you start talking swedish I think it would get easier. I don’t think anybody would laugh at you ’cause they know youre from America. And you just have two years left then you can move out and live in the U.S. Lycka till !

Reply from max.Buste /post/115861-right#reply-3284438 Thanks alot for the reply, very much apreciated. I forgot to mention, probly important but in the stats I had a 4.0 GPA / 4.0 GPA. I was getting into scholorships and everything, I actually thought I had a good future going for me. Was in the JNHS Junior Nasionall Honor System aswell..

But here I just pass, not with exceptions or anything, just a good o’l cs/bs and I blame the language. I’m limited useing the swedish language.. Thats another reason why I don’t want to speak swedish, it makes me limited and I hate being limited. I like to use all the resources I can..

Thanks again for that reply Jenny.

Reply from jenny_bauerl /post/115861-right#reply-3284335 I you are starting to fail at school something needs to happen. I do believe it is legal for you to fly and I think maybe it would be a good idea to think about finishing school in the states. You are almost 18 and life is different then. You will be able to learn swedish if you want to and your commitment may be stronger…instead of having to. People finish school with different families all of the time. Being in a whole nother country is more intense yet I think if you sat down with everyone involved and discussed that you are having so much trouble, maybe finishing out high school in the states would be a good idea. Good luck, being 16 isn’t easy, sounds like you are smart and I am sure everything will work out. You would not be leaving your family forever, you have a long life in front of you and jepardizing your education is not a good idea. :) take care…

Reply from max.Buste /post/115861-right#reply-3284318 Don’t have the money to do things like that though ;/ We arn’t rich, at all. My mom had to pawn some of her grandmothers jewlery (that she owned) to get us here in the first place.. And I don’t think I could stand another day of school at this rate. I’ve emailed my teacher about how upset she made me and what my thoughts are etc and told her that I wasn’t going to be going to school tomorrow, or probly not even the next week.
