i can invision that… hahahahahahaha… actually… the nose rings they had … 12 years ago… sucked… they were huge.. and ugly… but now adays.. the one that i have in now.. is very petite… you can barely see it… its a tiny little diamond stud.. and looks very nice on people…

Call a dermatologist and find out the best type of metal … or call around and ask lots of peircing places … ususally the less irritating rings are more expensive.

But, still the advice I gave above is CRITICAL in it healing.

Just for the record … whenever deciding to get a peircing … go to the MOST reputable place!! It may be more expensive … but well worth the care.

Your belly button is a harbor of bacteria and bacteria thrive in dark, warm, moist places. Which BTW is what makes belly button piercing notoriously difficult to heal.

You must wash it with soap and water regularly and rinse it thoroughly. Then, use alcohol around and at the site …. gently twist and move the ring through the piercing hole so that the alcohol works its way into where the wound is raw.

Don’t fiddle with the peircing often … the bacteria from your hands will be transfered to the ring and promote infection.

FYI: recently ‘piercing professionals’ told a young girl I know not to clean her peircing with alcohol. ???? (this techniqe has worked for years and years) She acquired a horrible infection and needed to remove the ring.

Understand how bacteria grow and then inhibit the bacteria growth. Do not promote it.

Your piercist might have hit an oil duct.
Your body might just be upset—continue to do what the piercist advised, and call them and tell them it looks infected and see if they have any other advice.
