If you go to the one in sweden you’ll regret it later because Mexico can count as community service hours, which is a great plus (I graduated college with 12 college credits and over 1000 volunteer time.. my university LOVED that)

Personally, I would go for the trip to Mexico. Living with a family will completely immerse you in the area and the culture, which is awesome. Being in a competition will probably be more like a school field trip to another city.

That’s just me, though.
