Updates to this post /post/146-how-long-is-my-t-day-turkey-edible Mon, 09 Nov 2009 11:51:32 +0100 Reply from ghostie_toast212 /post/146-how-long-is-my-t-day-turkey-edible#reply-619749 D: I just ate some bad turkey yesterday. You have a horrible stomach ache. Ours was 17 days old… I kind of can’t believe I ate it… but still. Yesterday it was still fine, so I suppose 16 days is the limit for us.

Reply from VincentL /post/146-how-long-is-my-t-day-turkey-edible#reply-1298 You know how you get sleepy after eating turkey? Well after eating bad turkey, you fall into a coma! Haha just kidding, I’m sure you’ll be fine. Just don’t eat it if it smells funky.. but worst case you’ll have a stomach ache… maybe

Take that with a grain of salt, I’ve never eatting spoiled turkey before =P

Reply from fusionplus32 /post/146-how-long-is-my-t-day-turkey-edible#reply-1297 Well, I remember when I was in elementary school they scared the living crap (banned word?) out of us by showing a video of someone being carted off to the hospital in an ambulance after eating spoiled food. So naturally that’s the first image that comes to mind. With that said, we go by the “smell” and “look” method, if it smells and looks ok, go for it!
