It was New Years Eve ‘many’ years ago and we were hanging out at the home of some friends. We went out to get some food for the party. He was acting weird all evening…saying strange things. I guess he was nervous. We got back and at quarter to midnight, he takes me upstairs. He says to me that he wants to spend his life with me, does the whole “will you marry me” on bended knee bit. I was in shock. We were both in tears. That New Years Eve party turned into our engagement party.
