Reply from courtybubble /post/147349-was-howard-the-duck-the-best-film-e#reply-3592109
howard the duck still ranks among the worst movies ever made. i just can’t explain why i saw it three times.

blade runner is one of the rare movies that was better than the book it was based on (do androids dream of electronic sheep?). i would expect courty to have a comment on that one!
ya know, i have not seen blade runner:( so im off to “research it”now and ill report back!!!
hehe thanks for giving me something to watch while the gaping holes in my mouth where my wisdom teeth yesterday reigned heal over and cause me massive amounts of pain!

Reply from UCreateUrReality /post/147349-was-howard-the-duck-the-best-film-e#reply-3592062 Hmmm. I for one, think Howard the Duck is a great film, but I can totally see how most people do not recognize it’s greatness, and also see how the critics demolished it. It is very specific to a certain sense of humor.

With all due respect, I want to know how many people voted yes on this post because it was authored by an admin :) Just curious… although I love it I’ve met very few other people who do in real life

Quite possible. But let me ask you this: if no one gets the joke, is it still funny?
