Anyway I think we all have a favored sense and you can what someone’s is by what they say. Like “I “see” what you’re saying” or I “hear” that or I had a “sense” - does that make sense. My Dad used to always say things and then say “Do you know what I mean” and it drove us crazy sometimes but when I heard this I understood that was just how he operated. He didn’t really always understand me because I was more of the Seeing type so I had to learn to adjust to his knowing and we learned to communicate and we each continued to remember in our own ways.

I read once that right-hand versus left-hand had something to do with the brain function/memory as well. But I can’t remember what all that was about.

If you are sad when you wake up because of a sad dream, this is because your subconsious is active whilst dreaming. Not your ‘concious’.

But your subconcious still has an effect on your mind so you still feel sad.

If we remember a dream a long time later…its because we have rehearsed it in one way or another.

That makes sense now that I think about it. Especially hearing about news. Usually there are no images to correlate. Also I do see sound as being a great memory tool, I can recollect songs that I have heard, obviously.

I see that playing into matters too. What about emotional memory? Sometimes I wake after dreaming. I won’t remember the dream, but I will remember the emotional tone. If it was particularly sad, I will be sad.

Maybe this is all more complex than I can fathom.
