ahh that sucks hun! Thats never happend to me I’ve been frends with my best friend since 1st grade…I’m now a junior in college! I think that highschool is a time to find an identity..maybe she thinks shes better then you, or maybe she just doesnt feel complete in her life….in any case,dont get down. Just give her sometime and take time for yourself. when youre young you think that everything is such a big deal but im sure its nothing more then a little fight…or what not! If you guys are ment to be friends in the long haul you will be!!!

Right there with you! My best friend and I are barely talking, but I still love her (friend). I’m thinking the best solution is just to let her make new friends, spend some time apart, but make it clear you’ll still be there for her when she needs you.
If you’ve been friends for that long, don’t give up on her now.

wow, that sounds so familiar to what i went through!! i was friends with this girl from pretty much birth till out sophmore year. she always talked about how one day were going to be popular in high school and such. i never understood why it was so important though. but for some reason it was. well, we got into highschool and she was doing everything she could to “fit in” with the “popular” crowd. one day she came to school a completely different person! new clothes, attidude, make up, EVERYTHING! sure enough the “popular people” took her right in with their group. because i wasnt willing to change who i was just to fit in with people like that, she stopped talking to me. it was soo messed up! but now looking back, i laugh at her. she emailed me the other day apologizing for what she did. she told me stories about how terrible they treated her and people they didnt think were as good as her. honestly, i dont feel sorry for her. its kinda like that movie “Mean Girls.” just stick with your true friends. she may come around and realize she needs to stop being like that, she may not. but if she doesnt, then dont even bother. you are obviously better then that. you seem like a caring person. she doenst. be the bigger person

aww. well dont worry. if you guys were to gether for so long dont you think that thats a little suffocating. i’ve gone through the same thing with my friend danny. just give her her space for now. and if that doesnt fix thing then dont argue just talk. tell her how you feel. and if shes a real friend then she’ll listen to what you have to say. but i think its just a phase. all you guys need is some space.
