I think it’s time that you move on. Try and go and find someone else to get that connection with.

What is important is that you keep this girl as a friend but maybe cut down on the amount you see her. You might find that once you have got it into your head that it’s just friendship and have tried to find someone else that later in life the friendship turns into something more because you have always been there for her.

Don’t try and hate her. You probably know that there is much to hate and you will probably regret it in the long run as it will destroy anything you have with her.

I have been in a similar position and know how frustrating this can be. It will work out even if she doesn’t end up being “the one”
