If they are working age, I would have them all get jobs. Hopefully there combined income will make up some of the money your husband will lose when he gets a new job that is half is current salary.

Also as a bones since it will be more then one income you will get a brake on taxes as each will be taxed independent and its likely your kids will not make enough to be taxed on. So even if gross your children can’t make up for the short fall after tax money might be closer.
