[Help] Anyone have clothing experience? Updates to this post /post/156750-anyone-have-clothing-experience Wed, 15 Oct 2008 21:05:29 +0100 Reply from Times' gone mad /post/156750-anyone-have-clothing-experience#reply-3692393 You could try a slimmer, which won’t necessarily slim to down so much as firm up your waist and hips so that fabric will sit ‘better’.

There have been in the past some sun dresses I’ve always appreciated them because they have a more tailored look to them about the waist.

I love my sundresses.

Reply from missaraine /post/156750-anyone-have-clothing-experience#reply-3692226 that’s what “what not to wear” is all about. i know empire waists are great to help the apperance of a slim down, but with being busty, you have to be careful where it sits.

you could always consider one of those tummy tucking pantyhose. or a corset thing under your dress. no one will know that you’re wearing them and they help make you look tight

Reply from missaraine /post/156750-anyone-have-clothing-experience#reply-3692209 if you go to a great place to buy your dress, they’ll help you. but you’re gonna have to go to a high quality store and be willing to pay more. you’re the mother of the groom and deserve to look stunning as well. (i’m getting married soon too and i def. want my mom to be a hot mama!)

i also like to watch what not to wear with a pen a paper. i look for girls who are about my size, height, and build (i’m busty as well) and i write down tips. Then i take them with me when i go shopping. it might sound dorky, but it helps alot!

it’s also good to take that really honest friend with you. not the one who tells you that you look nice with everything you try on. take the one who will tell you it doesn’t look good, or to go up/down a size and so on! she might annoy ya in the store, but you’ll be grateful later!
