I can not argue on the basis that people berate the worth of a mans soul, or that we are told to give it up, because that is a personal speculation. It is in your opinion that you reply as such, and I am not agianst anyones opinion.

We are not. We have the underlining choice. your giving the soul the benifit of the doubt. Like ancient philosophy, Socrates says that our soul leans towards what the human desire is. if you want to work for the benifit of others, you will, otherwise, it is entirely up to you how you manage your life. It does not matter what others think your soul is worth. Depending on what you do and how you do it, your soul will gravitate to your most plesure in life.

Then why do so many people berate the worth of a man’s soul? Why do so many say that the only good thing a person can do is only work for the benefit of others? Why is it that human beings have been given souls, yet we are told to give them up everywhere?
