Can’t you call him? and talk to him? I’m sure you’ll see him soon. But don’t be sad, things are going to be alright. Maybe if you ask your mom gentily about seeing your dad, and tell her that you miss him, then she’ll let you see him. Maybe because you fight with her a lot, she things that he’s making you hate her. Just tell her that you still love her but you have two parents and it’s not your fault they are seperated and you are hurt only because you miss him. But most important tell her you will love her for always and you love your dad too. And wait for a day or two, then she’ll probably change her mind. Nice ways do work sometimes but they work slowly too. It has been like more than a month sice you have seen him, so you can wait a day or two. And if she didn’t approve talk to her “nicely” again.

Things are going to be alright :)
Take care of your self and of your little brother too
Hugs!

Reply from Richard cor de lyon /post/158236-i-miss-my-dad#reply-3709201 The reason I ask, is depending on your age (and what state you live in) you can petition the court to live with your other parent. In California, I believe that age is 14. That is assuming your parents are divorced. If they are not divorced then I’m sorry because there is little you can do (if anything).

Reply from Tragically_Misled91 /post/158236-i-miss-my-dad#reply-3709126 Have a good talk with your mum about how your dad is NOT trying to bring you down and how seeing him will not turn you against her. Tell her that by keeping you from him she is only causing you hurt and depression.
