Perhaps, but Science can prove or disprove whether you can “make energy construct of another animal” or if you can not. You can tell whether this happened or not through simple observation; at T=0 there is no “a lump of energy that behaves like a frog” on the table and at T=1 a “a lump of energy that behaves like a frog’ appears out of no where. It’s quite definitive. The observer need not believe or disbelieve in magic all that matters is that a “a lump of energy that behaves like a frog” papered from no where.

Really, I wish I could help you but if I tell you what I know, you’d have to believe it first before it could help you. And no one can convince you but yourself. Most of modern science agrees that there is no such thing as magic/spirituality/energy. Whilst the truth may be different, I won’t convince you of it - as a matter of fact I can’t even tell you about it without being ridiculed.
