Just touch a lot (not inappropriately, just different places, like you do to your friends, but maybe more so) and for the gaze thing, if you look him in the eyes and just stay there for a tad longer, keep looking for a bit after hes turned away. Also, just talk as if he was just a normal friend, not someone you like.
