It feels like there is construction shaking the ground or something. But like you I asked people around me if they felt it and no one did. I also get a random sharp shooting pains in my right ear every once in awhile which makes me think it is related. Or I am conscious that it may be related to blood flow restriction in the legs due to flying. Hoping to see a doctor soon though!

I have noticed that recently there has been a lot of earthquakes in my region and wonder if it may have something to do with that. It seems when I lie down or sit the whole body ‘vibrates’ bloody annoying when you are trying to go to sleep!!! One thing I have found to be helpful is to put my finger on my neck pulse it seems to ’stabilize’ and lower the vibration….

It is so surreal that I have asked others why the ground or floor is shaking– and they tell me it’s not. It is a very strange and frightening sensation. I am guessing maybe inner ear, although I have had my blood pressure read “high” during more than one of these episodes. It is always after FLYING.

Anyone else have the feeling of the GROUND shaking??? Accompanied by dizziness and lightheadedness….

This is no dream it happens when i am awake, then i cannot get out of it.
It happened once this year when i was sick. I’m 18 yrs old.
What could this be?

]]> cold_fire34 Mon, 13 Jul 2009 05:10:04 +0100 Reply from xpuccaluv /post/159145-i-feel-like-everything-around-me-is#reply-5048877 I get this same thing, only it has only started recently, I smoke quite heavely so I thought it might be something to do with that and have really tried to cut down, also I have cut out drinking lots of caffiene…. but any time I mention it to the docter they tell me it’s to do with my nerves and being scared or stressed, (because I suffer from manic depression I cant really argue with them) although when it happens I dont feel stressed or down it happens at random times, and lately it has become very often….it isnt that I know it isnt it’s like my heart kinda flutters but it vibrates through the whole top half of my body, do you guys feel it in your ears too…. some times I feel as though my ears are popping (like when you change height too fast) and I feel it in my face like my heart beat is up there instead of down in my chest…. dont know if its the same thing but it really scares me at times.

Well it fell on deaf year, (one doctor even told me if this was true, I’d be dead was just saying it for attention cause my father recentaly passed away of heart disease. So I kept my mouth shut and lived this this senations for the next 8 years, it happened several times a month. Finally, once I gained my own insurance and was forced to see anew doctor, I mentioned this problem (was it was happening more and more. well come to find out I had graves disease - a form of thyriod disorder. “Vibrating sensation” was a a ’sign” and happnens in thyriod disease. Once I had my thyriod levels regulated by medications this vibrating went away. Been 4 years now and the only time I had this “vibrating” again was when I was preg with my 1st child, a adjustment in meds, and it was again went away.

Its grown to be a part of my life, i seem to have forgotten what it was like to not have the pulse body movement. I feel it in bed trying to sleep, sitting in a chair.. practically everywhere. I have no idea what this is. I do know that every article and page i read on this, everyone who also has this condition all have something in common. They’re heart beat, its either very strong or fast. Wich leads me to think of something such as hyperthyroidism or wolf white parkinson’s. Dont get freaked out now, who ever may be reading this. Wolf white parkinson’s is not a very serious matter, it is just a missfunction of the hearts electrical signals. If anyone has any information on this or has even found a cure or a diagnosis please email me at i> small>(email removed) /small> /i> I hope someday i can live my life normally again!

I have only 1 cup of coffee a day but maybe that’s what it is, and YES i was gonna see a real doctor, not gonna rely on a website if something is seriously wrong with me, just trying to find out what it is before the appointment cause it’s in a few days and i want to make myself feel better.Thanks a lot.
