Reply from 2edeeze /post/159380-ive-lost-motivation-i#reply-3721727 Let me tell you something. I’m in my early 30s, and returned to school in my late 20s. My story is long so I’ll cut out the petty details. I started out at a humble community college and worked my way up to a prominent university. Before all this, I was in the military, took low-paying unpromising jobs, and did most things that people who learn lessons the hard way would. I hated high school, and didn’t like how life and society is so structured. But if want to make it in civilized world, then you better take your education seriously. I know that probably 1/ 2 the time, college teaches you a lot of theoretical abstract stuff, and you might find it useless in the real world. But it’s up to you to figure out how to apply these “theoretical abstract” concepts to the real world. College is meant to condition you to think, it’s not meant to provide answers. If you don’t come from a wealthy family, or don’t have a talent or skill that people show high demand for, then I suggest you take college seriously.

Reply from bark pench /post/159380-ive-lost-motivation-i#reply-3721676 Maybe you lost motivation because you don’t want to study. That’s a conscious choice you are able to make. Why might you not want to study? Is there something you dread about it?
