If you have exhausted all other options, and you know a replacement is the ONLY option that you have (and you’d be wise to have written affidavits to this affect), then you start your letter campaign. First to the highest official within the Insurance company itself. Then to the Insurance Commissioner if your state has one. Congressmen and the press. Write to consumer advocacy groups as well. If you have affidavits from medical professionals, and you can prove that an insurance company is making it impossible for you to live a decent life… think how that will look spread across the 6 o’clock news!
