I am confused because my prescriber made it sound like if you are on the pill, when you have your period it’s not a “real period.” Therefore, I assumed it wasn’t possible to have PMS. I guess she didn’t explain it very well. :(

Reply from virgin_queen /post/159958-birth-control-pills-ladies#reply-3727739 Some brands do actually help control all those pesky things…but the ones I’ve tried (all 6 types!) don’t do much for me other than make my period lighter. Sounds like you’ve been on this one long enough to know it’s not really giving you what you want, so I’d second that doctor suggestion.
