I just finnished my second semester in college, I’m also trying to find a job. The problem isn’t that I can’t meet people. I’ve met plenty of girls, really good ones too. And I already did give up. I gave up last March when I asked her. We are still friends though, and she’s valuable to me that way too. But the thing is that even though I’ve decided not to go after her anymore, I’m not really over her.

Well dude, you should give up on it. She turned you down once, and once you ask out a girl that friendship is compromised. It’s going to be hard to get over, so you just need to meet new people.
Are you working or in school? What avenues do you have to meet people?

you need to find someone else, after you have acepted that you will nerv be together then it should be ok, just try to find someone else move on

Like I said, we’ve become a little distant. Last year, we saw each other everyday in school. After I graduated though, I’ve seen her for more than ten minutes once, and that was last August. Since then, we’ve tried to get together a few times, but it always falls apart. It used to suck, but I’ve gotten used to it. That’s probably another problem I should deal with.
