Reply from rexworld /post/16-any-advice-on-how-to-improve-my-goo#reply-103 It’s all about the links. You need people linking to your site, that helps both indirectly in terms of improved Google PageRank and directly because people reading those other sites might click to your site.

I’m not certain if Blogspot supports Google Analytics–yes they’re both Google properties but the integration might not be there yet. But if it is, you should definitely install Analytics and take a look at the traffic reports. I was amazed to discover, for example, that a large percentage of traffic into my blog was from a link that a co-worker had on her blog. She’s got a lot more people reading her blog, and some of them click over to mine.
