Reply from Anonymous /post/163975-prom-help#reply-3774423 haha… well it’s your call.. ask her! Since it’s all planned out already… maybe she doesn’t have a date. You can’t go wrong with just asking, even if it’s “just as friends.” Just ask her if she has a date… if yes then go “oh ok… who?” she’ll tell you.. then you make conversation blah blah blah… if no, then ask her “Would you like to go with me?” Simple! She’ll give you a yes or no answer and you’ll be on your merry way. When the heck is prom anyway?? If it’s today…definitely too late… if it’s next weekend.. you better ask her like now!

Reply from Anonymous /post/163975-prom-help#reply-3774405 When i went to my senior prom I spent about that much, maybe more and I’m a girl… it just wasn’t worth it to me. But I don’t know, maybe my school had a boring prom… in any case there’s always next year! I don’t see why you cant get a group of friends together to have fun at D&Bs…

Reply from Anonymous /post/163975-prom-help#reply-3774380 Personally I felt like prom was over-rated, and EXPENSIVE! Dave & Buster’s was a lot of fun last time I went… but I was also 23 so I could drink…

Reply from steve_and_theres /post/163975-prom-help#reply-3774362 Why not go this year? Who knows what you’ll learn, maybe how to be more comfortable looking so great! You’re worth it. Nice clothes will make other people be seen in a better way too. Just go to have fun is all.

Reply from Dots /post/163975-prom-help#reply-3774349 You don’t have to go this year then, and you can go next year instead.
So don’t forget that. You still have another opportunity to go.

Reply from steve_and_theres /post/163975-prom-help#reply-3774338 Dave & Busters will be there but your prom only happens once, maybe twice, in your lifetime, in your Junior and Senior years. Go to the Prom, have fun with everybody, those who plan it have things to do there, have your picture taken, dance, just be with people, many of them you may never see again. If this is your senior year, this is one of the ways you move on in life.
Dave & Busters will still be there when the Prom is over.

Reply from Dots /post/163975-prom-help#reply-3774335 Okay, so you have time.

Are you a Junior or Senior? And have you attended Prom before?

You say you wouldn’t know what to do… it sounds like you’re not the “school-dance” type.
If you don’t know what to do there, you really won’t enjoy yourself.
Don’t forget though, that you could go, and leave early to go to D&B.

restrain?
Well, if you want to go to Prom, then go.

But if I was in your situation, I would just go to D&B with your friends.
When is Prom btw? If it’s today, then it’s definately way too late, because getting a tux now would be a hassle and cost a LOT.
I kind of do but, what would i really do there. The prom is on the 7th of june.
