Reply from cajun2 /post/188609-help-i-got-home-and-my-slow-cooker#reply-4102621 Actually not a doctor, actually don’t go to the dr. unless there is a bone sticking out of my skin. I have only been to the doctor for myself, once that I can recall, bone out the arm. Many stiches, but all taken care of by the vet, anything else treatur(witch dr.) has seen about.

Reply from cajun2 /post/188609-help-i-got-home-and-my-slow-cooker#reply-4096628 Libras are the romantic ones, that is what I was refering to when I said that. And yes I would like to come and cook it for you.
But regardless, give us an update on how you feel tomorrow. Julannhopkin seams to think otherwise and so you will have to say who had the correct answer.
And if you do get sick(which you won’t) I will go take care of you.

Reply from cajun2 /post/188609-help-i-got-home-and-my-slow-cooker#reply-4096571 The worst incident in which I have seen, is a group of men who had hung an animal, which I had shot for them, hung it in a tree to keep it off the ground. It stayed there for 2 weeks, they returned cut off a hunk of meat off the hind quarters, cooked it on an open fire using an old plow disk for a grill, cooked it and they all ate. None sick. I didnt eat, I passed. Would not recomend that but for the day, no problem.

Reply from cajun2 /post/188609-help-i-got-home-and-my-slow-cooker#reply-4096472 But it already too late for that roast, the wine already ruined it, throw it away and start over. It wasnt the time sitting in the crockpot, it was that wine that you put it in that ruined it. Ha.

Reply from cajun2 /post/188609-help-i-got-home-and-my-slow-cooker#reply-4096466 Season it, stuff with onions and bellpeppers, brown it(sear it) add water and simmer a couple3 hours. Drink the wine while u wait. Serve with white rice(has to be cooked too, no boil-in-bag rice, EVER!)and a vegtable.

Reply from cajun2 /post/188609-help-i-got-home-and-my-slow-cooker#reply-4096432 No, use the stove top, and enough with the wine on the roast. Wine is for drinking while you cook.
