[Help] I feel dizzy and faint after eating. Updates to this post /post/189812-i-feel-dizzy-and-faint-after-eating Tue, 24 Nov 2009 10:54:10 +0100 Reply from rsmikh0 /post/189812-i-feel-dizzy-and-faint-after-eating#reply-5356748 The same thing happen to me twice. Once after a family event. I went to the bathroom to wash my hands and i felt dizzy and fainted. Another time is when i was out at a restaurant with my friends and i fainted at the table. I went to the doctor and check my heart and she said there was nothing wrong. I searched it more on my own and realized that its all about portion control when eating. Both times it happened to me it was after eating A LOT of food. You have to control your eating and to know when to stop eating. I am a healthy 22 year old female and weigh 120lbs. It always happened when i hiccuped/burped after eating…hope that helped.

Reply from tll6 /post/189812-i-feel-dizzy-and-faint-after-eating#reply-4925289 I’m 22. I’m a 5′2 female in great shape. This started for me about a week ago. After eating a large meal, I suddenly felt sick to my stomach, and excused myself from the table. I then got bit sweaty, then had difficulty breathing. Then my arms began to tingle. Then, a black sheet began descending over my eyes, I felt dizzy, and realized I was going to faint. The same thing happened again today. Please, if you find out the cause, do let me know. i> small>(email removed) /small> /i>

Reply from rushde /post/189812-i-feel-dizzy-and-faint-after-eating#reply-4606034 Try looking at this. The Doctor in germany that I went to knew about this. Unfortunatly there is no treatment but it can be mostly prevented.

Reply from mdunphy /post/189812-i-feel-dizzy-and-faint-after-eating#reply-4141684 hmmm, its quite possible it is panic, but then again its so easy to dismiss something like that. Have you been sleeping well? Have you experienced anything out of the ordinary as of late, aside from passing out?

For me it is blood pressure, sometimes it affects me more; it can be something as simple as standing up that triggers it and yet other times i’ll be in my martial arts class jumping around like a nut and not feel anything. Sound possible?
