Reply from danbo513 /post/192614-i-cant-find-the-dip-stick-to#reply-4153452 ya, but he/she wants to check the engine oil level, not the auto trans fluid level. there is still a dip stick somewhere to check engine oil.

Reply from Da⌐11 /post/192614-i-cant-find-the-dip-stick-to#reply-4153322 The dude should not have laughed at you, I would not take it to him for repair in the future. If he is that unprofessional who knows what else he will do to your car

The ATF level gauge (dip-stick) has been discontinued, and the ATF inspection method and the oil level inspection method have been changed.

This mechanism consists of a refill plug, overflow plug, ATF temperature sensor No.2, and A/T OIL TEMP temperature warning light.

Reply from danbo513 /post/192614-i-cant-find-the-dip-stick-to#reply-4153092 that only means that you dont have to worry about changing fluid and filter on the transmission. the engine oil should be able to be easily checked.

The dealer is a little far from home, but I’m going to take my time and wait for somebody to answer it.

Thanks

Reply from danbo513 /post/192614-i-cant-find-the-dip-stick-to#reply-4153066 thats strange, those books usually show you where and how to check oil and stuff. sorry, that was my only advice besides taking it to the dealer and having them show you.

Reply from yoandra0 /post/192614-i-cant-find-the-dip-stick-to#reply-4153053 The book doesn’t mention anything, that’s the reason I’m asking. the dealer laughed at me when I asked.
