Reply from super_ritchiebaby /post/193781-hi-guyssuddenly-in-my-syste#reply-4174854 The desktop icons can be retrieved by right clicking anywhere on desltop and choosing properties > select desktop > customize desktop and tick the ones you want back. If more are missing check when you right clink under arange icons there is option to see desktop icons or not
