Reply from most-wanted-websites /post/194031-tool-school-learn-about-online-t#reply-4175050 Hmm… maybe it’s also time to think a little more about graphic design / logos?

Anyways: I am also planning to “target” different levels / types of interests (such as school / uni / college students / business / seniors / etc.)…

Reply from most-wanted-websites /post/194031-tool-school-learn-about-online-t#reply-4174848 Well, it’s definitely LOL material (I guess ;) — but I really like the way it almost sounds like “tools cool” (if you can get past the other connotations ;)…

I’m setting up a forum now.

For me, engagement & participation are key elements, but also transparency.

I am going to have to start creating “types of tools” categories — such as “html editors” or “blogging tools”, etc.

There are two different terms that are already “gelling” for me:

- Web (something having to do with building / expanding networks)

- Online (something available via the internet)

These two concepts are really independent of one another (though they’re quite similar).

Also: Software that is developed communally (such as through the mozilla foundation) and/or “open source” software may also be “featured” differently than software which is developed in a *proprietary* framework (note that Google has just announced that it will soon release a browser it has developed *IN HOUSE* :O — and I expect that will be pushing Google ads more than other browsers do ;)

These are just some general ideas bopping around in my head — would love to hear what kind of impression other people have of this project!
